Nonetheless, we caught the bug and have been skiing many years. Your tips are right on and will be very helpful for 1st time skiers and others. Glad to hear you caught the bug and that you're looking forward to your next ski outing. I have to admit that Colorado and mile long ski slopes scare me a little bit. We keep talking about going but I keep backing out. I have to say that the fact that you skied for the FIRST time in Colorado makes me feel a little less frightened about doing it. Thanks for the tips, maybe next year will be my year to go :).lightofworldphotohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08519689630107612136noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3402632618227564155.post-47749706830946108342013-02-25T11:09:11.710-06:002013-02-25T11:09:11.710-06:00I LOVE #1 -- so true! Switch out ski pants for jeans, wrap a colorful scarf over your long underwear top, throw on a couple bracelets and add pink tinted lip balm (like Burt's Bees) to lips and cheeks. I finally felt better the day I was leaving.

My 17 year old is a snowboard instructor this year at a small, local resort. He LOVES the tips because in his case, he doesn't get paid unless he's giving a lesson. Even if he's onsite for most of the day. The tips definitely help raise his hourly average.

Tonya @ The Traveling Pratershttp://thetravelingpraters.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3402632618227564155.post-38818247155073578612013-02-22T13:13:15.727-06:002013-02-22T13:13:15.727-06:00I've never been skiing.
