Turkey Dinner & A Movie at Alamo Drafthouse: Thursday, November 22, 2012
What goes best with a turkey meal??  The latest movie! Did you really think I'd say a football game?  Don't worry, that's available too.  All movies at all Alamo Drafthouse Austin locations on Thanksgiving Day have the option of coming with a full turkey meal (before 9 pm).  You can even get a turkey meal at the UT football game at 6:30 pm.

22nd Annual Thundercloud Subs Turkey Trot: Thursday, November 22, 2012
Your choice of a 5 mile or 1 mile run starting at the Long Center and benefitting the Caritas of Austin.  Last year almost 20,000 people participated. The Turkey Trot sounds like a fun way to burn some calories before scarfing down that turkey meal and raise money for a good cause!

Operation Turkey: Thursday, November 22, 2012
Looking for an opportunity to give back to this community we call home?  The Austin-based Operation Turkey is always looking for additional volunteers to help prepare & distribute Turkey meals on Thanksgiving Day.  Children are welcome to help as well.  What an awesome way to spend your day.
