Friday Daydreamin': Anyone need a beach?

Happy Friday friends! Time for Friday Daydreamin'!

Join us each Friday by linking up your favorite travel post of the week and I will do my best to see them all over the weekend.  I hope you will take a few minutes and visit some of the link ups too.

I love this link-up party because I get to learn & see so much travel through the eyes of all my fellow travel bloggers.  I have learned so many amazing things and seen some gorgeous pictures thanks to y'all sharing your travels here.  I hope you continue to do so.
A year ago from today - this was my view. sigh.

We are forgoing our annual trip to the beach this summer for our road trip.  And while I will be missing those lazy days at the beach, I am thrilled to be seeing so many new sites with my children. It all starts in a week and 2 days!!!

Please come around next week and hear all about our trip.  And I hope you will follow along on our journey on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/rwethereyetmom) and Twitter (http://www.twitter.com/rwethereyetmom) and Instagram (http://www.instagram.com/rwethereyetmom).

In the meantime, please add a link to your favorite post of the week down below - I have been helping with our summer church camp all week, but I will try to come by this afternoon!

I'm excited for you to leave on your road trip so I can glean some tips. My husband wants to travel throughout the Southwest next winter so I'm counting on you to find some cool things for us to do! How's that for pressure? :)

No days at the beach while you're in Califonia? My favorite is Malibu's Paradise Cove. I'm looking forward to following your trip. I'd really hoped to connect with you while I'm in Austin, but I seem to be swamped with boring homeowner duties and doctors appointments.

I'm excited about your trip and all the places you will go. You are about to get some serious, "Are we there yet moms" coming your way.
