According to our calendar, summer is officially here! Truth be told, we've been enjoying summer for almost a month here in Texas!! And while it is HOT outside, which keeps us searching for ways to COOL down, it's always nice to do a little armchair vacationing with Friday Daydreamin'.
This week, we are dreamin' about cool places here in Texas.....we are at the World's Largest water park, Schlitterbahn in New Braunfels:
Schlitterbahn has been around since I was a little girl and has grown into a Water Wonderland! Four separate parks with water slides, wave pools, lazy rivers, and tons of water play areas for little ones. I can't wait to tell y'all all about it next Monday!
We have already been twice this summer and can't wait to go back - there is honestly so much to do, it is hard to get it all in, in one day!
What are you daydreamin' about today? Ways to keep cool?? Post your favorite vacation picture and link up with us today!

I have always heard great things about Schlitterbahn whenever they feature the best waterparks. Looks so fun! Here's to more summer adventures for your family.
That is one amazing looking waterpark - I like the outdoor ones much better than the indoor ones. Have a great time!!
Great photo! Water parks are also popular here in Korea, and are such great way to cool down on a hot summers day.
I can't wait to go to water parks with my kids. I hate roller coasters, but put me on a water slide everyday of the week and I am excited!
I'm in Houston right now and it really is HOT (and humid) -- not complaining though! The water park looks like a great way to cool off, but I'm more likely to just play in the water than go down any slide. :)
Thanks for joining our Family Travel Friday blog post! Who doesn't love a water park? What fun!
Nothing beats the beach on a hot day, laying in the sun and jumping waves.. but if the beach is not an option, kids just love waterparks.. Here is out perfect day in the sun - http://bit.ly/g9bacA
Schlitterbahn is just another of the many reasons that I really want to get to Texas soon. It's always near the top of those "best waterparks" lists, and some of the slides look like they might even entertain my daredevils. Looking forward to your posts on it!
We're definitely doing some Friday Daydreamin' around here . . . we leave in 4 days on our summer trip to Spain and Portugal! Yay!
It looks so fun! We have several water parks in Utah, but none that look as awesome as Schlitterbahn.
That looks like fun!
