Happy Friday friends! Time for Friday Daydreamin'! My favorite day of the week as I get to armchair vacation through all of your lovely photos!!
We use got back from a 3 day trip down to one of my very favorite cities in Texas. Anyone recognize this famous landmark?
I have been to the San Antonio Riverwalk countless times and the appeal never wears off on me.
All your senses come alive on the Riverwalk. It was 95 plus humidity when we walked the Riverwalk, yet with all the trees, the shade felt perfectly comfortable. The brightly colored umbrellas welcome you to sit, smell the amazing Mexican food, taste the tangy margarita and zingy salsa. The sounds of the Mariachi bands put a smile to your face as every kid gets up to dance. I love this town!

This looks like a lovely place to spend an afternoon or an evening. Great shot.
What a nice scenic shot! I haven't been to San Antonio yet and out of all the Texas cities, this is the one high on my list because of the Riverwalk, the Alamo and the Natural Bridge Caverns. Austin is up there too, Becca :) I need to visit your state soon!
You have no idea how much I want to visit San Antonio for the River Walk - I may need to start thinking about a trip to Texas!
My family enjoys the RiverWalk, too. I hear that it's very festive around Christmas (and probably cooler).
I love seeing all of your Texas adventures! The Riverwalk looks lovely (despite that humidity...yikes!) :-) Happy Friday to you!
My family LOVED San Antonio and the Riverwalk was great! We visited during cooler weather, minus the crowds and humidity. It was pretty quiet when we were there, but it was still beautiful. If we ever head back to San Antonio, I'd love to stay at one of the hotels right there. Talk about a happenin' spot!
Did that river walk back in 1967 when I was given Thanksgiving Day off while in basic training at Lackland Air Force Base.
Looks like a lovely, refreshing walk. I really should see more of Texas!
Your photo makes San Antonio look so inviting. I've been hearing more lately about what a great place it is -- on the list!
Okay, that's it. I'm moving to Texas. You all have the coolest places!
